BERLIN — October 11, 2018

More than 600 companies currently manage their Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) using the software of the leading German HSE specialist. As part of their international rebranding, EcoIntense is repositioning itself. The legal form and organizational structure of the company will remain the same.

“When we first launched our EcoWebDesk software in 2007, the focus was still on environmental management. Today we cover a much broader range of topics – from occupational health & safety to the management of hazardous materials, legal compliance, and sustainability. Through the acquisition of NordSafety, we have expanded our portfolio with an innovative app and our new locations will allow us to support even more customers across Europe. Our new brand puts us on an ideal path to European market leadership,” says Markus Becker, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quentic

Linking data, connecting stakeholders

The new name contains various elements of the slogan “connect. engage. inspire”. Christine Walch, Head of Marketing & PR: “Our brand positioning states that we connect software and people, involve people in a task-oriented manner, and generate enthusiasm for the whole HSE and CSR field – either via web browser or app.” The mobile solution allows employees to report incidents and accidents on their smartphones while they are on the move. If all members of a team are involved seamlessly, the awareness of safety issues increases continually.

Along with the app and the software in an adapted design, the software specialist will also be introducing a special new feature with the 11.0 release: Users of the software will have access to an exclusive online community. “The Quentic Community brings together customers, the Quentic team, and partners, who can then achieve even more together. We facilitate to share knowledge and best practices and to implement these in our software, to gather feedback and suggestions, and to create an additional channel for support and guidelines,” explains Sebastian Mönnich, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Quentic.
