Feb 28, 2024

When Tim Van Hauwermeiren and his co-founders started argenx in 2008, they had “no money and no business plan,” say Van Hauwermeiren. What they did have was an idea they believed in – to engineer antibodies that could ultimately change the lives of patients with autoimmune conditions.

In the latest episode of Exceptional Leaders / Exceptional Ideas, biotechnology analyst Vikram Purohit talks with Van Hauwermeiren about his entrepreneurial journey, ideas for keeping innovation front and center, and a last-minute dinner that proved pivotal for argenx and the patients whose lives have been changed by its technology.
