Morgan Stanley and its employees have built a strong relationship with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital over the past 50 years. We are proud that our support, including $60 million to create NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in 2003, has allowed the hospital to remain the top pediatric center in the tristate region and among the top children's hospitals in the United States according to U.S. News and World Report.1 It is Manhattan's only hospital dedicated solely to the care of children and one of the largest providers of children's health services in the tri-state area, serving thousands of children each year.
Latest Efforts
In 2023, Morgan Stanley committed $15 million to help the hospital create a world-class neurologic neonatal intensive care unit. The new unit will have cutting-edge technologies for clinical staff, new incubators for patient stays, and more specialists to support newborns with developmental deficits and delays. This dedicated neuro-NICU will be the first of its kind in New York and one of the first in the United States.
Employee Involvement
Since 1973, employees have served as a critical link between the firm and the hospital, with thousands regularly volunteering and generously supporting the hospital annually. This includes a popular annual comedy night and charity auction for employees to come together to raise funds.
