Healthy Cities Newark identified new delivery models to increase the number of children receiving health and nutrition benefits through the Community Foodbank of New Jersey and its Kids Cafes sites across the city. In addition, Healthy Cities Newark introduced unique farm to table nutrition programming through Grow-a-Row, and provided safe play spaces and fitness activities to help improve health outcomes.
