How do I activate my Shareworks account?
There are four different ways to activate your Shareworks account. Your company will only
provide you with one option. Note, if you are a Single Sign-On (SSO) user, you can skip this step.
Company Email Address
This is the most common method of activation.

Visit https://shareworks.com/activate

Enter your company email address

Complete the captcha section

In 30 minutes, you will receive an email that contains a link to activate your account

Note: The email message may contain specific information to have handy to
complete the activation process.

Click the link to access a verification page and enter the required identifying information

Once your identity is verified, a login ID, username, and password is created

Note: If you choose not to create a username, you will be provided with an account number as your username.

Once log-in credentials are established, immediate access to your account is provided
Activation Link Email
Before you get started, you may need one of the following to activate your Shareworks account using the
activation link
- Date of birth
- Last four digits of your Taxpayer Identification Number
- Postal / Zip code
- Employee number
- Hire date
Once you receive the email from Shareworks that includes a link to activate:
- Click the ‘Activate My Account’ link in the email
- You will be brought to the activation screen to complete your activation using one or more of the personal identification attributes mentioned above

No Activation Code?
If you misplace or lose your activation code, please try the company email activation method described
above, or call our Workplace Solutions Group for assistance.
Note: The confirmation number is for your reference. Once the activation form is reconciled with the
information provided by your company, Shareworks by Morgan Stanley will send your account number
and temporary passwords (one to sign in and one to transact) to you in separate letters by regular post. If
you do not want to wait for these letters to arrive to access your account, contact the Workplace Solutions Group.
